Job summary

Continuity of Care Services is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to provide complex support for a male client with a spinal injury at home and in the community. You will cook from scratch, assist with personal care, and meet the family to ensure readiness for the role.

The role requires flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave, and involves complex moving and handling, companionship, and basic chores. Training is provided for catheter and related care.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is essential.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship not offered.
• Full UK driving licence to drive Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to service users at home.
• Assist with complex moving and handling.
• Personal care and household chores.
• Medication administration.
• Accompany service user to activities and appointments.
• Support to access the local community.
