Continuity of Care Services in Tunbridge Wells seeks a Complex Care Assistant to provide 24/7 in-home support. You will work in a private team to ensure continuity of care with a person-centred approach, supporting activities of daily living and community engagement.

The role involves mornings, days, and on-call shifts with full training provided. A UK driving licence is essential, and accommodation of family needs may be considered. This is a rewarding, client-focused opportunity.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience and understanding of working with people disadvantaged through illness and disability.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship not offered.
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Experience with Cerebral Palsy, PEG, Makaton is helpful; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including getting up in the morning and going to bed at night, washing, dressing, toileting, oral care, dressing.
• Medication administration
• Food preparation and peg feeding
• General household duties, including housework and laundry
• Maintain good communication and provide companionship to the client and family
• Use manual handling equipment safely and correctly
• Meet client and family before starting to ensure readiness for the role
