Job summary

Total Community Care, part of CCH, is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a client with a spinal cord injury at his home in Bugle, St Austell. You will help with therapies at home, in local facilities, and at specialist centres across the South West.

No prior experience is required and full training will be provided. For longer shifts, drivers over 25 may drive the service user’s car due to insurance policies, with ongoing support from a caring, patient team.

Responsibilities

• Support a client with a spinal cord injury living in his own home.
• Assist with therapies at home, in local facilities, and at specialist centres in the South West.
• Support the client at medical and personal appointments, encourage outdoor activities, and work with the client’s family.
