Job summary

Total Community Care in Bugle, St Austell, United Kingdom, is seeking compassionate staff for flexible full or part-time hours to care for a client with a spinal cord injury at home. You will assist with therapies, accompany medical appointments, and encourage outdoor activities, all with full training and clinical support.

Training is provided with no prior experience required; driving eligibility applies for longer shifts.

Qualifications

• Be caring and compassionate, and a good listener.
• No experience required – full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support a client with a spinal cord injury, living in his own home.
• Assist with a range of therapies at home, in local facilities, and at specialist centres in the South West.
• Support the client in attending medical and personal appointments.
• Encourage outdoor activities.
• Work closely with the client’s locally based family.
• Develop skills with full training and clinical support in a supportive, person-centred environment.
