Day Shift: Saturdays 8am-4pm

As a Libertatem Complex Care Assistant, you can make a real difference in people’s lives by caring for their complex needs and enabling them to live the life they choose. You’ll join a supportive team that provides all the training and development needed to support your client, making this a rewarding and fulfilling role.

Your role

Everyone is different. That’s the core of our approach to care. Our care opportunities vary—from taking clients to medical appointments to full twelve-hour shifts supporting them through their day. You’ll be there to meet their unique needs and build a connection with the people you care for.

It’s important that you can handle the physical aspects of care and have experience in:

• Enteral Feeding
• Medication Administration

Supporting you

Being a Libertatem carer isn’t just about caring; it’s about being good with people—gaining the trust of clients and their families. If you have a caring personality and relevant experience, we’ll provide online and classroom training in complex care needs and the opportunity to study for a relevant NVQ.

Depending on the client, you may work alone or as part of a team. If you’re available, you could support more than one client.

Before starting, you’ll meet your client and their family. You’ll have day-to-day support from a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager, and access to our ‘Carer App’ for insights and information. We’ll give you everything needed to succeed in this role.
