Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a vibrant young girl at school and in her family home.

With full training provided, you’ll build skills in areas like tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and more, while helping the family maintain independence, dignity and daily routines.

No experience is required to apply. We offer paid training, local mileage, and the opportunity to work for the largest care company in the UK.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Desirable: experience with tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suction, cough assist.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support a vibrant young girl at school and in her family home.
• Deliver complex care with compassion to maintain independence and dignity.
• Learn and apply skills such as tracheostomy care and seizure management.
• Engage with family to support daily routines and wellbeing.

Job description

Pay Rate:£14.00 per hour

Shifts Available:08:00 - 16:00 Monday – Friday term time only , Weekends throughout the year

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Complex Care Assistant to support a vibrant young girl at school and in her family home. She lives with her parents, older sister, and their friendly dog.

Described by her family as a “cheeky diva” with an infectious personality, she is sociable, determined, resilient, and full of life. She enjoys spending time with her sister, using her tablet, listening to music, and watching her favourite shows - especially Mr. Tumble.

With full training provided, you’ll have the chance to build specialist skills in areas like tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and more, all while making a genuine difference in her daily life.

What you’ll need

Due to the client's needs, experience intracheostomy careisdesirable.Experience in intermittent catheter care, PEG feeding, suction, cough assist, sensory loss, and bladder and bowel care would also be desirable.
