Job summary

A leading care provider in Wales is looking for a Complex Care Assistant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in supporting individuals with complex needs, including spinal cord injuries and muscular dystrophy. No previous care experience is needed, as full nurse-led training will be provided. Shifts will typically be on Mondays and Thursdays. Qualifications

• No prior care experience is necessary for this role as full nurse-led training will be provided.
• Ability to provide care to clients with various complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and other complex needs.
• Enhance skills in tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
• Make clients' days brighter while developing your skills and knowledge.

What you'll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care, plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of, though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
