As a Sonderwell Complex Care Assistant, you can make a real difference to people's lives by caring for their complex needs and enabling them to live the life they choose. You'll join a supportive team that provides all the training and development needed to support your clients, making this a rewarding and fulfilling role.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing complex care to clients, including tasks such as cough assist, gastrostomy, medication administration, non-invasive ventilation, oral suctioning, and seizure management. You should have experience in these areas and be able to build strong connections with the people you're caring for. Sonderwell will support your development to ensure you deliver the best care possible.

Hourly Pay: £13.48-£15.24
Location: Reading
Day Shifts: Wednesdays 10am-6pm, Sundays 10am-2pm
Everyone is different, and our care reflects that, from assisting with medical appointments to full-day support. Building a connection with your clients is essential, along with handling the physical aspects of care. Experience in cough assist, gastrostomy, medication administration, non-invasive ventilation, oral suctioning, and seizure management is required.
Being a Sonderwell carer is about caring and connecting with people. If you have a caring personality and relevant experience, we provide online and classroom training, as well as opportunities to study for NVQs. You may work alone or as part of a team, supporting one or multiple clients. You will meet your clients and their families beforehand and have ongoing support from a Care Coordinator or Nurse Manager. Our ‘Carer App’ offers valuable insights and information.
