Job description

We're recruiting experienced dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to join our nurse-led team at Cera to provide care to our clients in and around the Peterhead (AB42) area.

You'll be providing care and support to a young male (child) with Cerebral Palsy, who loves listening to music and whose specific needs include:

- Personal Care

- Oral Suctioning throughout the night

- Repositioning throughout the night

- Companionship

- Feed and medication management

Shifts include

- 3 or 4 shifts covering waking nights from 10pm - 8.30am

- Alternate weekends required

We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team. We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.

^In Scotland, all care staff are required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), the regulator for the social service workforce in Scotland. You must maintain your registration with SSSC and ensure your annual renewal is completed. You must also work towards your SVQ2 which Cera will fund however, there will be an SVQ registration fee which will be payable by the employee.
