Overview

Base pay range

Join Alcedo Care Crewe as a Complex Care Assistant working around Crewe and its surrounding areas. Excellent rates of pay £14.-£14.50 PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a Rolled Up pay rate of £16.16-£16.74). Role requires you to have a driving licence and own vehicle as based in the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, and neurological disorders.
• Receive comprehensive training and competency sign-off from our in-house team of Registered Nurses to ensure you are confident in your role.
• Carry out clinical tasks such as manual cough assist, digital stimulation for bowel management, postural and spinal support, PEG care, tracheostomy care, and provide ongoing assistance with continence, medication, mobility, meal preparation and helping with household tasks.
• Promote independence and bring a real sense of joy to those you support.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spinal and Brain Injury is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Must be aged 18 or over. This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Requirements

Due to the nature of the role, including personal care and unsupervised work with vulnerable individuals, flexibility with hours including late evenings and night shifts is required.
