Job summary

Innovatecare is seeking a dedicated care professional to provide outstanding support for a male client in Peacehaven with complex healthcare needs. The role includes medication administration, implementing care plans, and delivering compassionate support.

Ideal candidates should have homecare experience, be proactive, and possess good communication skills. The position offers a pay rate of £140 per night, and full training will be provided to ensure you excel in this vital role.

Qualifications

  • At least 12 months of homecare experience.
  • Experience with complex needs including brain injury and visual impairments.
  • Must be a car driver.
  • Compassionate and reliable.
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence.
  • Willing to work as part of a family-centred care team.
  • Understanding of safeguarding is essential.

  • Salary:£140 per night (includes holiday pay accrual – Holiday pay is accrued and held separately, not paid out weekly)
  • Working pattern:Regular nights – mix of waking and sleeping
  • Requirements:To be eligible to apply, you must hold full right to work in the UK and be able to drive
Your Role

You will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care for our male client in Peacehaven with complex healthcare and developmental needs, including neurological, physical, sensory, and emotional support requirements. The role involves implementing care plans, medication administration and providing compassionate, tailored support to promote independence and wellbeing.

Our client is a very sociable young man who enjoys gaming, history and comedy amongst many other interests. The ideal candidate for this sleep‑in nights position would be calm, proactive and have a great sense of humour.

You’ll be part of a consistent care team, typically supporting one client at a time in this stable, long‑term role.

What We’re Looking For
  • At least 12 months of homecare experience
  • Experience with complex needs including brain injury, visual impairments, behavioral and learning difficulties
  • Car driver

  • Good communication skills and IT confidence
  • Willingness to be part of a family‑centred care team

  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
