Balfour Beatty is seeking a dynamicCompletions Leadto contribute to theNet Zero Teesside(NZT) project based at our site in Redcar and Cleveland.

What you'll be doing

As Completions Lead, you will be accountable for the development, management, and execution of the completions strategy across BBK's scope. You will ensure all systems are installed, tested, documented, and handed over in line with client requirements, industry standards, and BBK's quality expectations. This role requires a leader who is detail-oriented, highly organised, and skilled at coordinating multiple stakeholders during the critical final stages of project delivery.

Develop and manage the completions plan for BBK's scope, aligned with client and EPC requirements
Define system boundaries, turnover packages, and handover procedures
Lead the setup and administration of completions management systems (CMS)
Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities across disciplines
Ensure all quality records, test packs, and certification are complete and accurate
Interface with client, EPC partners, and subcontractors to manage handover requirements
Track and report completions progress, punch lists, and outstanding works
Drive closure of punch items to ensure timely system handover
Support commissioning teams in the safe and efficient startup of systems
Provide leadership on lessons learned and continuous improvement of BBK's completions processes

Who we're looking for

The successful candidate will have the following personal qualities and experience:

Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline (or significant relevant experience)
Strong track record in completions, turnover, or commissioning on large industrial, energy, or process projects
Knowledge of completions management systems (e.g. MCPlus, WinPCS, ProCoSys) and digital handover tools
Experience with systemisation, test pack preparation, and QA/QC turnover documentation
Excellent communication and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams
Familiarity with UK regulations on pressure systems, electrical safety, and commissioning practices
