Job Description:

Ashton Recruitment require a Complementary Therapy Programme Co-ordinator for our client Relatives for Justice. This is funded by Victims & Survivors Services.

Position: Complementary Therapy Programme Co-ordinator
Location: Belfast
Duration: Permanent
Pay Rate: £26,692 per annum
Hours of work: 30 hours per week

To coordinate and deliver a range of complementary therapies across RFJ's support centres and online to victims and survivors of the conflict as part of RFJ's Health and Wellbeing Programme promoting healthy lifestyle choices and coping mechanisms. To deliver training and supervision to our sessional therapists ensuring that professional standards, with appropriate external verification and registered agencies, are maintained and developed.

Duties will include:

  1. To co-ordinate Complementary Therapy Services to Relatives for Justice members.
  2. To co-ordinate procurement of Complementary Therapy Therapists.
  3. To supervise Therapists delivering Complementary Therapy in Relatives for Justice.
  4. To ensure good governance in all respects of the Complementary Therapy Programme, including robust systems of data protection.
  5. To ensure safe, professional and welcoming environments in premises where therapy is provided.
  6. To review and implement good practice policy and procedures for face-to-face and online clinics.
  7. To maintain MYMOPS and Salesforce data systems in compliance with funder and organisational requirements.
  8. To use and develop referral systems for users who require further assistance within & beyond that provided by Relatives for Justice.
  9. To liaise with other members of the RFJ staff team as appropriate.
  10. To provide quarterly reports including qualitative and quantitative data for Deputy Director and external funders.
  11. To effectively implement monitoring and evaluation procedures to ensure compliance with funders and general best practice.
  12. To produce information leaflets and website updates outlining clinic services.
  13. To maintain all records in an appropriate and legally compliant manner.
  14. To carry out such other duties as management may from time-to-time reasonably request.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Relevant qualification in complementary therapy plus minimum three years' experience working in service delivery of complementary therapies to victims of trauma.
  2. Minimum two years' experience of project management in a community setting.
  3. Extensive working understanding of legacy of conflict in Ireland and international transitional justice models.
  4. Excellent proven working understanding of the somatic impacts of trauma.
  5. Commitment to holistic model of delivery of support to victims and survivors.
  6. Minimum five years' experience in research, writing reports and submissions.
  7. Minimum three years' experience with monitoring and evaluation CRM systems eg MYMOP, CORE etc.
  8. Extensive demonstrated knowledge and experience in NGO governance and best practice, including in a professional therapeutic setting.
  9. Excellent understanding of conflict related gender harms and the implementation of gender lens in a transitional justice setting.
  10. Evidence of CPD in trauma.
  11. Excellent presentational, writing and verbal skills.
  12. A full driver's license or can demonstrate ability to travel to meet the demands of the post.
