Salary: Up to £30.00 per hour

(depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Sarum Road Hospital in Winchester is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Complementary Therapist to join their team in the Oncology department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover during staff leave or absence.

Duties of This Role Include
  • Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of individuals and the wider community.
  • Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect, and dignity.
  • Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge, skills, and expertise.
  • Communicate appropriately with others involved in patient care.
  • Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients, demonstrating courage to speak up about concerns.
  • Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.
  • Develop, plan, and assess treatment schedules for patients and deliver treatments as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and best practice frameworks.
  • Support the implementation of national developments locally.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with consultants.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
  • Proven previous experience of delivering complementary therapies.
  • Experience working as a Complementary Therapist.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
  • Recognised qualification in the specified therapy.
