We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Complementary Therapist to join our Inpatient Unit team. Working closely with the Physiotherapy Lead and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will provide safe, personalised complementary therapy interventions to support the comfort, wellbeing and quality of life of patients receiving palliative and end of life care. You will undertake holistic assessments, adapt treatments to meet complex needs, and contribute to the delivery of holistic, patient-centred care. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your specialist skills to support patients and those important to them during a significant stage of their care journey. Responsibilities include undertaking holistic assessments, identifying risks and contraindications, delivering treatments within scope of practice, maintaining accurate clinical records, and evaluating outcomes. The role involves working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support holistic care planning, communicating sensitively with patients and families, maintaining safe treatment environments, and contributing to service development, audit and continuous improvement activities.
