Job Description:

We are currently working on this interesting role with a well-known international law firm. The firm is currently seeking an experienced Solicitor to join its Competition Team on a full-time basis. This position can be based in either the firm’s Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

This growing team covers a broad range of areas including competition investigations, EU and UK mergers, competition litigation, regulatory and trade work (including sanctions) and behavioural advice. The team is keen to hear from ambitious lawyers between the 2-6 years’ PQE range, ideally with a strong background in UK and EU competition law. Interested applicants should also have experience in regulatory work, public procurement, state aid and/or trade law.

This role would be well-suited to candidates with a desire for a balanced practice across the different areas of transactional, contentious, and advisory work.
