Competition Paralegal – Elite US firm – London

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading US law firm in their search for an experienced Competition Paralegal to join their market leading practice. This role will be based in the firm's London office and will be offered on a permanent basis.

The Firm

Renowned for numerous market-leading practices; their strengths are in complex transactions, financings and restructurings, high-stakes litigation, and public policy and competition. They have developed a reputation in London as one of the leading US firms representing some of the largest and most successful globally.

The Team

The team represents multinationals, conglomerates and global financial institutions across the full spectrum of EU/UK competition matters, including complex cross-border mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures, technology transfer and intellectual property (IP) licensing, abuse of dominance and cartel investigations, investigations by government agencies and regulators, competition law damages claims and disputes.

The Role

As a Paralegal in the competition team, you will be required to assist the Associates and Partners on all aspects of the above; however, there will be a particular focus on transactional competition matters.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful paralegal will likely have at least 12-18 months of previous Competition experience, ideally with a focus on non-contentious/transactional matters. This experience will have been gained with another leading US or UK city law firm.
