Job summary

Vasto Legal Recruitment partners with an international law firm to recruit a Competition Disputes Associate (2-4 PQE) for their London office. You will handle a broad range of competition disputes, including follow-on damages, standalone claims, and collective proceedings before the CAT, High Court and Court of Appeal, in a disputes-led practice.

The team also covers merger control, investigations and regulatory advice, offering exposure to non-contentious work and advising major corporates

Qualifications

• 2-4 years PQE in competition litigation, ideally including matters before the CAT, High Court, or Court of Appeal.
• Background at a leading City law firm, US firm, or specialist disputes boutique.
• England & Wales qualification required.

Competition Disputes Associate (2-4 PQE)

We are working with an international law firm on a position within their Competition, Antitrust and Trade team in their London office. The position is for a 2-4 PQE Associate.

You will be working on a broad range of competition disputes matters, covering follow-on damages claims, standalone claims, and collective proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, High Court and Court of Appeal. The team acts across sectors including technology, financial services, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods.

The team sits within a wider Competition, Antitrust and Trade practice covering merger control, investigations and regulatory advice, so while this role is disputes-led, associates will also gain some exposure to the non-contentious side of the practice. You will act for major corporates, including in the technology sector, on high-value, complex, and often multi-party litigation.

This position is ideally suited to an individual with:

• 2-4years PQE in competition litigation, ideally including matters before the CAT, High Court, or Court of Appeal
• A genuine interest in building a career focused primarily on contentious competition work, though some non-contentious experience is welcomed
• Background at a leading City law firm, US firm, or specialist disputes boutique
• England & Wales qualification
