The Role

As a Competition Lawyer, you will:

• Advise on complex competition law issues, including:
• Merger control investigations and foreign investment reviews.
• Cartel defence, abuse of dominance cases, and market investigations.
• Regulatory matters across key sectors.
• Commercial agreements, joint ventures, and business strategy compliance.
• Represent clients before competition and regulatory authorities.
• Work closely with clients in regulated industries, providing strategic guidance.
• Develop and implement compliance policies, audits, and training programmes.
• Engage in business development and thought leadership initiatives.

Key Requirements

• 4+ PQE Competition Lawyer (Senior Associate level: 6+ PQE preferred).
• Strong experience in UK and EU competition law.
• SRA registered lawyer (postgraduate qualification in competition law is a plus).
• Proven expertise in merger control, cartel defence, and regulatory matters.
• Commercial acumen and ability to deliver clear, pragmatic advice.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
