Job summary
Keep Education is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support teachers and pupils in Harpenden. This role involves assisting in delivering engaging lessons, working with individuals and small groups, and providing support to students with varying needs. The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills and a nurturing approach, with GCSEs in English and Maths as a minimum requirement. Training in safeguarding is preferred. Qualifications
Previous experience working in a school or with children is desirable.
Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous.
Suitable for both experienced TAs and those looking to gain classroom experience.
Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning.
Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
Provide additional support for pupils with varying needs.
Help maintain a positive learning environment.
Support behaviour management in line with school policies.
Assist with playground duties and school activities.
