Job summary

Dimensions in Darlington is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker to assist two adults with autism and learning disabilities, supporting them at home and in the community. This role requires a calm, patient approach and the ability to adapt to changing needs, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Ability to follow individual support plans and PBS strategies.
• Comfortable supporting people who communicate in different ways.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
• Follow support plans, risk assessments and health plans.
• Assist with daily living activities including cooking, shopping and managing finances.
• Provide personal care when required and support with community activities.
