Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd in East of England, Suffolk is seeking a Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support to individuals in need, including personal care tasks and daily activities.

The role requires GCSEs in English and Maths, NVQ2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), prior experience, safeguarding knowledge; NVQ3 and First Aid are preferred. Part-time, evenings and weekends, temporary position.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
• GCSEs in English and Maths.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred).
• First Aid certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Providing practical and emotional support to individuals in need.
• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Supporting individuals with daily activities and encouraging their independence.
• Monitoring and recording individual progress and any changes in behaviour or health.
