Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a Female Support Worker for a maternity cover (6 months) in Harborne, Birmingham. You will support three individuals with learning disabilities, delivering person-centred care in their home and community settings.

No previous experience is required, but warmth, compassion and unconditional positive regard are essential as you help residents engage with everyday life and local communities. Induction and career progression are provided.

Responsibilities

• Support service users in meeting cultural and personal needs.
• Assist with tenancy management, safety, hygiene and comfort in their home.
• Respect privacy and dignity while promoting self-care and independence.
• Encourage service users to express needs and participate in planning and reviews.
• Contribute to reviews with verbal and written reports.
