Job summary

purpletribe is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Swindon to assist adults with learning disabilities and autism at home. You will provide person-centred support, promote independence and wellbeing, and work across varied shifts including weekends and sleep-ins when needed.

Experience in care is welcome but not essential; full training will be provided. You must have the right to work in the UK, and a driver is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support based on individual needs and care plans.
• Assist with daily living tasks (cook, clean, budgeting, personal routines).
• Encourage independence, confidence and choice.
• Support access to the community, appointments and social activities.
• Provide emotional support and promote wellbeing.
• Support personal care where required.
• Maintain relationships with family and friends.
• Follow care plans and communicate clearly with the team.
