Job summary

Voyage Care Bolton is seeking caring, hands-on Support Workers to help people gain independence in daily life within our Bolton service. You will work in a welcoming team supporting a group of individuals through activities, personal care, and community engagement, adapting to each day’s needs.

Role involves promoting life skills, encouraging socialisation, and supporting goals like cooking or outings. DBS checks apply; shifts include days and nights with rota coverage.

Qualifications

Must hold a full UK driving license (minimum 12 months).
Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma.

Responsibilities

Help people gain more independence in daily life.
Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
Encourage access to local communities and social activities.
Support in activities such as going to bars, cinema, video games.
Work within a dynamic team to deliver person-centered care.
