Job summary

Onecall24 is seeking a compassionate Support Worker in Redruth, Cornwall. You will provide person-centred support at clients' homes and in the community, helping with daily living, promoting independence and wellbeing.

Requirements: driving licence with own car, 6 months of recent care experience, valid First Aid and Medication Administration certificates, and eligibility to work in the UK. Weekly/daily pay, an app to manage shifts, ongoing training, and referral rewards.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the last 2 years.
• Must be a driver with a car.
• Must have Practical First Aid Training and Practical Medication Administration Training Certificate
• Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs and preferences
• Assisting with daily living activities and encouraging independence
• Supporting service users to access community activities, appointments, and social opportunities
• Promoting choice, dignity, inclusion, and equality at all times
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to support planning
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults in accordance with policies and procedures
