Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Llantrisant, Wales, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a young adult with cerebral palsy. The role covers 12 hours per week, with 6-hour day shifts on Wednesday and either Saturday or Sunday, after 10am.

Pay is £16.00 per hour and the post requires an Enhanced DBS check. You will support daily living, mobility and personal care, accompany therapy appointments, and be part of a small, loving team led by parents and a case manager.

Qualifications

• Have experience of working with young adults who have personal care needs.
• Have experience of working people with significant communication impairments.
• Be able to drive and have use of a car and be willing to drive my Motability van.
• Have the ability to work your hours flexibly.
• Be willing to register with Social Care Wales.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist with mobility and rehabilitation exercises.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities (bowling, cinema, concerts).
• Transport to therapy appointments and drive Motability van.
