Hatzfeld Care Ltd is recruiting Support Workers to join our newly renovated care home in Hollinwell, Nottinghamshire, providing high-quality dementia care, nursing care and residential care. We offer day and night shifts with 12-hour shifts in a warm, person-centred environment.

Successful applicants will be reliable, caring and professional, with excellent communication and a genuine commitment to helping residents maintain independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Reliable, trustworthy and professional approach to care.
• Caring, enthusiastic and patient attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team.
• Experience with dementia or mental health is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and emotional support to residents living with dementia and nursing care needs.
• Encourage residents to maintain their independence while respecting their choices and dignity.
• Support residents with personal care, daily living activities, and social engagement.
• Reinforce and encourage life skills and promote wellbeing.
• Become a Key Worker for designated residents, helping to plan, coordinate, and review personalised care.
• Develop relationships with families, healthcare professionals and other agencies involved in residents' care.
• Maintain care records and update personalised care plans using the digital care system.
• Safely administer or assist with medication in line with policies and training.
• Participate in resident meetings to promote choice and inclusion.
• Attend supervision sessions, team meetings and ongoing training.
