Guidant Global is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults and children across West Sussex. You will provide person-centred care, support daily living activities, and help individuals maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care, support work, healthcare, residential care, childcare, or a similar role is desirable.
• A caring, compassionate, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, organised, and professional approach to work.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence.
• Administering medication in line with training and procedures
• Supporting mobility, moving and handling, and hoisting where required
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking
• Providing companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction
• Completing accurate records and reporting concerns or changes in wellbeing
• Carrying out light household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Following care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans
• Responding effectively in emergency situations
