Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is currently recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming specialist school in Chelmsford, supporting children and young people with SEND to reach their full potential in an inclusive learning environment.

You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide tailored assistance on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, adapting activities to meet individual needs while promoting independence and positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND in a school, care, youth work or similar setting.
• Patient, compassionate and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, closely with teachers and the support team.
• Work one-to-one or with small groups, adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Promote independence and positive behaviour in an inclusive learning environment.
