Job summary

A leading educational support provider in the United Kingdom seeks a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs, providing 1:1 or group support, and creating a positive classroom environment. Ideal candidates will have empathy and experience with SEND pupils and possess strong communication skills. The position is temporary with the potential for permanency. Full support and training provided with weekly PAYE pay and access to CPD training.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• Ability to stay calm and supportive in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with special educational needs including autism and ADHD.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support.
