Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Eastbourne Gardens Care Home in Eastbourne. This bank role covers Days and Nights, acting as person in charge when needed and ensuring high standards of care for residents.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level nursing qualification and current NMC registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum 2 years’ nursing experience in care settings.
• DBS check will be met by Avery Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Undertake nursing tasks including medication administration, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and chronic condition management.
• Advise residents’ families and GPs on changes in condition and involve them in ongoing care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy care staff to ensure resident needs are met during duty periods.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and care planning.
