Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust in London is seeking a dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a supportive clinical service.

You will work across inpatient and community settings within CNWL, delivering high-quality patient-centred care while developing your clinical, assessment, and leadership skills.

This role offers NHS Band 5 pay and opportunities to advance within a progressive Trust.

Qualifications

• RGN / Adult Nursing qualification and current NMC registration.
• Minimum 12 months post-registration experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive nursing assessments and identify patients’ needs.
• Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans.
• Deliver safe, effective and compassionate nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments per NMC standards.
• Monitor patients and escalate deterioration as needed.
• Collaborate with families, carers and MDTs.
• Support students and new team members.
• Contribute to discharge planning and safeguarding.
• Participate in audits and service development to improve standards.
• Ensure CNWL policies and infection control practices are followed.
• Promote equality, diversity, inclusion and a safe environment.
