Job summary

Bupa Richmond Northampton Village is seeking a dedicated driver to organise daily transport for residents, including scheduled and on-demand trips such as shopping and appointments. The role requires a full UK driving licence and a courteous, flexible approach to care".

The position includes inductions, ongoing training, DBS check sponsorship by Bupa, and access to staff benefits. Shifts are 9:00am–5:00pm with 40 hours per week, potential for 50/50 job share.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have customer-focused experience.
• Polite and courteous with a can-do approach.
• Flexible and adaptable driver with a responsible attitude.
• Able to build trusting relationships with people.
• First aid trained; wheelchair restraints and tail-lift experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Organise and facilitate a daily transport schedule for residents.
• Provide scheduled and on-demand trips (shopping, appointments, activities).
• Collect and deliver equipment using company vehicles.
• Carry out vehicle checks and keep documents in order; ensure fuel is available.
• Complete journey logs and monitor Tax/MOT expiry dates; notify admin when due.
