Job summary

Cornwallis Care Services Ltd is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to join our dedicated domestic team, ensuring the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents. You’ll perform cleaning duties with a caring, person-centred approach, creating a comfortable environment and brightening residents’ days through thoughtful interactions.

We offer DBS provided, uniform, parking, and training, with enhancements paid for weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, sinks, and countertops.
• Make beds and change linens.
• Use vacuums, mops, and cloths effectively.
• Keep bathrooms stocked with toiletries and towels.
• Clean mirrors, glass surfaces, and communal areas.
• Tidy residents' rooms and refresh spaces.
• Monitor and order cleaning supplies as required.
• Report repairs or maintenance promptly.
• Assist with laundry and ensure home is clean throughout.
• Interact positively with residents to support a sense of home.
