Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time phlebotomist for the Brent Psychotropic Medication & Physical Health Clinic. You will collect blood samples from patients, ensure proper labelling and handling, and support clinicians to maintain high standards of care.

The role offers Clozapine monitoring exposure, full training, and opportunities to develop clinical skills within a friendly, forward-thinking team.

Qualifikationen

• Substantive experience in phlebotomy.
• Relevant qualification/competency in phlebotomy.

Aufgaben

• Collect routine blood from patients in a professional manner.
• Ensure accurate labelling and handling of specimens.
• Maintain accurate patient records according to policy and procedures.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Support clinic colleagues for smooth running of the service.
• Participate in training for Clozapine-related knowledge and skills.
• Deliver blood samples to collection points/laboratory at specified times.
• Maintain high standards of department housekeeping and stock levels.
• Report problems to the Manager.
• Be aware of Basic Life Support and Health & Safety requirements.
