UKCIL Ltd. in Heworth, York is recruiting a Personal Care Assistant to support a female resident with a physical disability in daily living tasks and personal care.

You will work directly for me in my home, following my guidance to maintain independence while offering warmth and companionship. The role requires 25 hours per week on a rota basis, with no formal qualifications needed and on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required for this role.
• Practical training and guidance will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mornings - dressing, breakfast preparation (approx. 1 hour around 7:30am weekdays).
• Dinners - meal preparation (approx. 1 hour around 6pm).
• Evenings - undressing, showering, etc. (approx. 1 hour around 9:30pm).
• Weekly tasks: shopping, collecting/carrying items, social activities, washing and laundry, cleaning, gardening, baking.
• Responsibilities include personal care, domestic care, and supporting independence.
