Job summary

Disability North is seeking a Personal Assistant in Boldon, South Tyneside to provide essential daily living support to a client with a physical disability. The role covers 17 hours per week across 7 days, with shifts including mornings and evenings; times are negotiable.

Pay is £13.43 per hour. The successful candidate will be reliable, able to work regular hours, and assist with personal care, mobility, social activities, and transfers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide physical assistance with daily living.
• Must be extremely reliable and able to work regular hours.
• Car driver preferred.
• At time of starting employment, must have permission to work in the UK.
• Shifts cover 7 days with negotiable times.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily living tasks.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and transfers.
• Support access to social and leisure activities.
• Respect privacy and dignity while helping the client be as independent as possible.
