Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Ossett, Wakefield is seeking a personal assistant to support a man with anxiety to access the community and attend activities. A car driver and car owner are required, and previous caring experience is highly preferred.

You will help with getting to and from school/work/college, support social and leisure activities, encourage independence, and build a trusting one-to-one relationship. The role may vary day to day and DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Previous caring experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support to get to and from school/work/college/social activities.
• Support and prompt access to sporting and leisure activities.
• Encourage socialisation and participation in activities.
• Promote friendships and independence; build a trusting one-to-one relationship.
• Carry out duties as reasonably required; report accidents and hazards immediately.
• DBS disclosure is required (costs covered).
