Job summary

Bupa Lindley Grange care home in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, is hiring a Care Assistant (Nights). A permanent contract for 24 hours per week (two shifts) with alternate weekends. Salary £12.75 per hour.

You will provide person-centred care, support independence and honour resident choices within our Brave, Caring and Responsible values. As part of a team, you will assist with personal care, nutrition, hydration, documentation, and activities.

Qualifications

• Motivation required and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: previous care home experience or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and document changes in residents' behavior as required by legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs per their care plan.
