Job summary

Kingsley Homecare is expanding, and we are looking for compassionate Live-In Care Assistants to provide vital support to clients in their own homes across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Whether you’re an experienced Support Worker, Home Care Assistant, or have a background in Domiciliary Care – or even if you’ve cared for a loved one – we’d love to hear from you. We cover travel costs for training and you’ll be part of a supportive team that makes a real difference every day.

Qualifications

• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support.
• Medication management: ensure meds taken as prescribed and monitor for reactions.
• Health monitoring: observe changes and report to medical professionals or family.
• Meal planning and cooking considering dietary restrictions.
• Light housekeeping to maintain a safe living space.
• Provide companionship and engage client in activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and events.
• Keep accurate care records and documentation of changes.
• Be prepared to respond calmly in emergencies and call for help if needed.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: assist with ADLs.
• Medication Management: administer and track medications.
• Health Monitoring: observe and report health changes.
• Meal Preparation: plan and cook nutritious meals.
• Housekeeping: light cleaning, laundry, tidying.
• Companionship: provide conversation and engagement.
• Transportation: accompany to appointments/outings.
• Documentation: maintain care records.
• Emergency Response: respond to emergencies and call for help.
