Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking a Support Worker to assist individuals with Learning Disabilities in daily living, promoting independence and community participation. You will deliver personal care, support routines, and help with daily tasks in a person-centred, respectful manner.

The role requires teamwork, good communication, and commitment to safeguarding. Travel between locations may be necessary; training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings and ability to provide personal care with dignity.
• Knowledge of person-centred approaches and safeguarding.
• Ability to work in a team, follow instructions and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and support to service users to promote independence.
• Assist with personal care, housekeeping, meals and activities as required.
• Liaise with GPs, Social Services and other professionals as needed.
