Somerset Care Group is recruiting for a part-time, permanent Kitchen Assistant at Rowden House in Frome. Two positions available: 8 hours per week and 20 hours per week, with weekend alternations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen setting.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to understand Service Users.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation under supervision.
• Keep kitchen equipment and areas clean and safe.
• Lay tables and clear dining areas as required.
• Maintain hygiene and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Handle waste disposal and operate dishwasher and other equipment.
• Present a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
