Avalon Park Care Home in Oldham is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment while supporting laundry services. You will clean rooms and communal areas and handle laundry duties with attention to hygiene and presentation.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach to tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear communication with residents and colleagues.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support laundry duties: washing, drying, ironing and returning clothes clearly labelled.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Work with the wider team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
