Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for Elstree View Care Home in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. You will join a warm, dedicated team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the home, following our SOPs and hotel-style service expectations.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH, plus experience cleaning laundry in a public setting. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and maintaining rooms to a high standard.
• Ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect and their personal space is respected.
