Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeping Assistant in the Wetherby area. You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming home for residents across dementia, nursing and residential settings, following schedules and safety procedures.

Training is provided, and a positive, respectful attitude is essential in all interactions with residents, visitors and colleagues. The role is 22.75 hours per week, with a 3 on 3 off rotation, and requires organised time management and careful attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided.
• You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail.
• Most of all, you’ll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation with Residents, visitors, and your team.

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead.
• Use products safely and follow hygiene procedures.
• Support infection control and safety standards.
• Help with laundry and linen care.
• Report issues or repairs as needed.
