Job summary

Supertemps Ltd is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join a supportive team in a specialist care setting in the Conwy area on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, clean communal areas, bedrooms and bathrooms, and follow infection prevention procedures to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for service users, families and staff. Access to own transport is required due to rural location.

Qualifications

• Desirable previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Reliable and flexible with good attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the premises.
• Clean communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and designated areas.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and properly.
• Create a welcoming environment for service users, families and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to complete duties to standard.
