Job summary

Berkley Care Group is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to support its care home residents with warm, attentive service and friendly dining experiences. This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork and a welcoming environment for residents and their families.

You will work shifts including mornings and weekends, providing meals, beverages, and event support while upholding high standards of cleanliness and resident wellbeing. Training is provided to develop hospitality-style care skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve light meals, snacks and drinks for residents and their families.
• Ensure dining and bar areas are clean, well-presented and welcoming.
• Provide the best dining experience for residents and their families in all settings.
• Ensure a good selection of drinks and snacks is available at all times.
• Help residents to prepare their food and drinks when they want to.
• Support residents in making food and drink choices, catering to dietary needs.
• Assist in organising and preparing special events and celebrations.
