Qualifications

• Experience in complex care (e.g. neurological conditions, feeding, epilepsy management)
• Confident with moving and handling equipment
• Reliable, punctual and patient
• Able to work independently
• Experience with non-verbal communication methods
• Experience working in home care settings

Responsibilities

• Full personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Moving and handling (hoisting)
• Medication prompting/administering
• Assistance with communication needs
• Supporting social activities and being out in the community
• Light household tasks related to client
