Job summary

Hope Homecare is seeking Home Care Workers to join our nurse-led team in Hertfordshire. The role involves providing practical and emotional support to service users in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, medication assistance, nutrition, companionship, and maintaining care records. Full training is provided, and driving may be required to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Support service users with mobility, moving and handling, and safe use of equipment
• Assist with medication administration and monitor service user wellbeing
• Support individuals with complex care needs following full training provided by the company
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration
• Provide companionship and emotional support to service users
• Maintain accurate care records and report concerns appropriately
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for service users
• Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider care team
• Travel safely between service users’ homes within the community
